CDENwould like to announcean open call to host the 5th annual ChinaOpenDebate Tournament in 2014. Previously Xi'an Jiaotong University (2010), Northeast University of Qinghuandao (2011),Shanghai Universityof Finance and Economics (2012) and Xi’an International Studies Universitygraciously served as hosts for the tournament. As thetournament has grown in size and popularity, we have been approached by various schools wishing to host the tournament going forward. In orderto choose among these offers fairly,we feel that it is important to have an openbidding process.

    中国辩论教育网络很高兴地宣布，2014年第五届中国辩论公开赛承办招募正式启动。此前，西安交通大学（2010），东北大学秦皇岛分校（2011），上海财经大学（2012）以及西安外国语大学都成功举办了此项赛事。随着比赛规模和普及度的不断提高，很多高校表示有意愿承办接下来的赛事。为了能在这些申请者中公平选择，我们认为有必要就此进行一次公开招标。

Wetherefore request that any school interested in hosting the 2014 ChinaOpenDebate Tournament submit the following information to, Robert Trapp (trapp@willamette.edu).    我们要求所有有意承办2014年中国辩论公开赛的学校都要向罗伯特·特拉普(trapp@willamette.edu)发送以下信息：

1. A letter of application from the applicantdetailing the reasonsfor wishing to host the tournament, the facilities available for the tournament,and a tentative budget. 申请书一封。内容应包括有意申办的原因，校方能为赛事提供的硬件设施（如场地条件）以及初步的办赛预算。

2. The name, background and qualifications of the person who will serveas Tournament Host. 个人简介一份。申请成为赛事承办者（即代表承办学校负责具体办赛工作的直接责任人）的姓名、简介及资历。

3. A letter of support from the university from a personat least as high- ranking as a dean. 校方支持信一封。此信应由院长及以上级别的领导签署，表达校方对申办的认可和支持。
