好消息 终于来了

To the unmature but yet high spirited friend,

Lets put this situation for our reference. Please imagine your university's management as your government, your club as one of the society's development centre, and putting yourself into one of the leaders' shoes. So, how are you going to manage your centre? You have great plans, only the sky is the limit. You have great teams, only their physical and mental abilities are their limitations. You wish to make the best out of everything. But as you 'grow' and 'learn', you know that boundaries are drawn from your 'government', rules and policies are to be followed, BECAUSE the very existance of your centre depends on them. I guess your activites would have rules as well right? :) To your great dissapointment, you have to crop, modify and even abandon your greatest plans, because as a 'leader', you can't jeopardize your centre's existance and growth. And this is just some of the issues put into deep consideration. I love your high spirits and morale but I hope that you will learn more than just 'critisizing' without 'consideration'.
Please critisize when you know, and what you know but not what u see on the 'surface'.

好，国能的朋友，如有种就在这里大声的对大家说你们是有种去争取的一群！

告知大家当你们面对佛光会时是如何争取联办的！一句校方policy是不可A不可B就是你们争取的方式？连计划书都不敢交上去就是争取？连和校方对话都不进行就叫争取？连try都不敢try就叫争取？

再来对于邀请外洲队伍之事，请问你们如何和校方争取？是不是校方一句NO，你们就像哈吧狗一样say NO!请问有没有和校方再谈？有没有另想解决方法？有没有联络外洲队说他们自己解决住的问题？

那些东一句说我不了解国能，西一句说我不了解国能之人，可不可公告天下你们如何争取，如何争取不成？

其实写那么多只因为发现当下大专生毫无主见，完全不敢取争本身的权益！

在国家大事上，当政者说A就认同A，从不敢说B！在学校里，校方说A从不敢做B！从大专到社会，这种人真是太多了，这也造成大马到今天还是威权国家，恶法如山，民主无望！

大专生啊！稿活动不只是稿活动而己，开始学习取争及突破吗！要不然十年后我们依然还只是在大喊着MALAYSIA BOLEH而己！

i do not know what has actually happened to the organising committee. whether they did fight with the uniten management or jus agreed with what the management said, anyway, i still respect their effort to organise such an event. sometimes, to organise an event is not easy as what u have thought. fighting with school management is sometimes beting the event future or even the society as a whole. it is not something that we say 'we are raging war with the management to get u a seat', the things that must take into consideration is more than 'a seat' if u view the matter in this point, who is being short sighted and who is being long sighted?

as a whole, i agree with keeny and taukei.

to quote voltaire 'i despise what u said, but defend your right to say it.'

标题是“好消息《第二届中马赛》来了”
可是为什么这里面的帖子尽是说些与“好消息”相反的事呢？
叫“中马赛”当然就是中马的事情，为什么硬要请其他地方的队伍呢？
在马来西亚，有辩论活动就是好事，我们应该关注的赛事的进行，还是筹委会有没有争取些什么呢？

Alright, everyone, CHILL OUT. We expect a great show, forget about all those sacrafices and fights. We truthfully appreciate that 'course.

I hope it will be far better off than QUanBian last year. (M talkin abt the performances). Old debaters shd be better, spread your wings and soar. Newcomers shd shine in the limelight. Judges shd be respected.( Be fair, not judgmental)

AUdiences shd be Intellectual not Emotional.
